Weekend in Old Monmouth was a wonderful success.  We had more than 50 visitors who came to learn about the history of the church, the importance f religious freedom -- New Jersey was one of only three colonies that had total freedom of religion -- no religious test -- thanks to the Baptist heritage of soul liberty -- freedom of conscience .  People viewed out historic cemetery where Revolutionary War heroes are buried.

On Sunday June 14 we enjoyed a wonderful musical celebration of American history through Boadway music.

The next event celebrating Middletown's role in our American Revolution will be  a parade on Sunday June 28 beginning at 12:30  (that's after all morning worship services for the three churches on Kings Highway are over)

The church and graveyard will be open for those of you who haven't had a chance to learn of the church's role in the American Revolution.  Patriot members of the Middletown Baptist Church are buried in the graveyard.
