Ah yes, O Lord, you give us the summer in the late spring when we’re not quite ready for it, but the weather patterns and the fullness of the day tell us of the power of the nature you have created. As we anticipate the summer, help us to care for every living creature.
As we look toward the shore and the sea beyond, remind us of your infinity. As we walk through the wood, remind us of your shelter. As we touch the earth, remind us to care as did he who came in your name, even Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
