How do we talk to you, O God, we ask but we really know the question should be, how can we listen to you? Help us on this Pentecost day to listen to your Spirit of justice so we live in right relationship with others. Help us this day to listen to your Spirit of love so we do not exclude others. And help us this day to listen to your Spirit of mercy so we act as you would have us to act.
You, O God, who welcomes all into your realm who live in your Spirit of justice, love, and mercy, bestow on us, we pray, that Spirit so we follow the one who came in your name, even Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
